Marketing/Digital Sample
A selection of marketing campaigns I've developed from concept through execution. My work on these projects has included campaign development, photography, graphic design, copywriting, digital content, and coordination with staff and community partners.
Mothering the Land
I developed “Mothering the Land” as a Mother's Day campaign that connected the holiday with La Montañita's larger focus on local food, agriculture, and caring for the land.
The series explored the ways we care for one another, our communities, and the land around us. To me, there’s something very nurturing about the way people show up for each other and the way we care for the places that sustain us.
This campaign highlighted Sweet Grass Cooperative and the people behind the locally produced food sold at the Co-op. I developed the creative approach and used video and storytelling to introduce customers to the producers and the work behind the products they see on the shelf.
Mothering can take many forms.
Sometimes it looks like preparing meals, sharing knowledge, or caring for the people around us. And sometimes, it looks like tending the land itself—protecting ecosystems, caring for animals, and making sure future generations inherit healthy soil and thriving grasslands.
For 50 years, La Montañita Food Co-op has been rooted in the belief that community care starts with our connection to the Earth and to the people who grow and raise our food. That commitment continues through partnerships with farmers and ranchers who approach their work with stewardship, responsibility, and long-term care in mind.
As part of our Mothering the Community series, we’re highlighting the people whose work nourishes our communities every day.
Daniel Unruh of Red Barn Ranch in Las Vegas, New Mexico, is part of the Sweet Grass Cooperative, a network committed to regenerative ranching practices that work in harmony with the land.
This is what Daniel said when we asked what caring for community means to them:
“Being involved in producing a wholesome, healthy food product for our community.”
That sense of care extends beyond the food itself. Through regenerative grazing methods, Red Barn Ranch works to rebuild healthy soil and restore grasslands by working with natural cycles.
“Using the cattle as the bison of old to regenerate the soil and grasslands.”
This approach reflects a deep understanding that healthy land, healthy animals, and healthy communities are all connected.
For Daniel, “mothering” is rooted in stewardship:
“Being not only stewards of the Earth, but also of the animals.”
As we reflect on 50 years of La Montañita, we’re grateful for producers like Red Barn Ranch who continue to embody the values our co-op was built on—care for the land, care for community, and responsibility to future generations.
This is the kind of work that sustains communities not just for today, but for decades to come.
Staff Pics of Staff Picks
I came up with this idea as a way to showcase some of our staff members’ favorite products at La Montañita. I had team members pose with the products they loved, then created a custom board that looked like a Polaroid frame for them to hold in the photos.
I handled the concept and visual direction, created the Polaroid-style boards, and finished the photos in Adobe Photoshop. The result was a fun way to put our staff front and center while giving customers a chance to discover some of the products our own team members enjoy.
This week, we’re featuring Sasha from our Rio Grande Wellness Department! Sasha shared not one, but two favorites that he always recommends for staying fresh naturally: Weleda Sage Deodorant Spray and Booda Butter Deodorant.
Here’s why we love his picks:
🌱 Weleda Sage Deodorant Spray – crafted with essential oils and botanical extracts, it’s light, refreshing, and free of synthetic ingredients. Perfect for those who want a natural, herbal scent without heavy fragrances.
🌱 Booda Butter Deodorant – made with simple, nourishing ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, and baking soda. It’s aluminum-free, cruelty-free, and especially great for sensitive skin.
Both options are made by companies that care deeply about people and the planet—aligning with the Co-op’s values of clean, ethical, and effective products. 💚
💬 Sasha told us: “My favorite pick is Booda Butter Deodorant and Weleda Sage Deodorant Spray. Combined together, they make an effective, long lasting, keep you fresh — stay nicely scented deodorant. It's a combo I've used for a while, I will continue to use it, and I recommend it to others. I couldn't go without it!”
